Dianna Diverno

What topic are you discussing in your script? And why?
In the script "Scenario-Packet" I present a very interesting mystery thriller story with western motifs. Namely, it is an interesting plot that follows the life of wealthy Verona Jeronimo from Texas, whose mysterious disappearance opens the door for investigative authorities to deal with her disappearance, but also the disappearance of her mother from many years ago – whose alleged death has never been fully investigated. Also, many people from the film industry who have read this script think that it is very interesting that I used motifs of the fashion industry, in this case "Burberry London" and that it extends in a very specific way through the entire script like a motif that acts as one of the main carriers of the entire plot.

How do people feel after reading your script?
I noticed that among the people who rated "Scenario-Packet" there is a lot of interest in the script itself, as well as in the possible participation in many other film festivals, which is persistently suggested to me. Also, since this script is not based on one of my novels, I have suggestions to write an interesting novel of American literature based on this literary work. I even had a proposal to offer film productions in the UK to make this film.

Do you think that movies can change people for better or for worse?
I think it's very important, first of all, to have the right approach to the film industry itself, that is, not to take everything that is offered on a platter, but to choose those films that can help us in our understanding of life and important aspects. Also, it's nice to have fun with interesting sci-fi movies or comedies, but I think you should choose what you watch from everything that the film industry has to offer.

According to the 3-act dramaturgy, how would you define your story?
I think that the development of the plot of "Scenario-Packet" is very interesting, it has an interesting introduction that almost cannot hint at everything that will happen through the plot itself, nor perhaps an unexpected turn, but also the very end. According to some British film experts, this scenario seems like the perfect scenario for film festivals around the world.

How does the main character develop?
In this script, it has two main characters: Verona Jeronimo, a wealthy heiress who has mysteriously disappeared, and Detective Blanco, who works on this case, and who eventually falls in love with her.

Which actors do you envision in your project (typological)?
Typologically, I imagine actors who could easily bring out the very essence of this intricate plot in front of the cameras, with an interesting plot, an unexpected twist and a beautiful ending that would be like a real treat and to the satisfaction of the film audience.

Why do you think your script should attract the director?
Perhaps for the reasons I have just listed, it is a mysterious western thriller with an interesting plot and ending, all wrapped in the aura of a famous fashion brand, and in addition, I believe that as a film it would not require extremely large financial investments.

At which festivals did you receive the award?
So far, I've won awards for "Scenario-Packet" at the Hollywood Gold Awards, New York Movie Awards, New York International Cult Festival, Chicago Script Awards.

Which screenwriters are your favorites and why?
I think that due to my further business steps, it is not adequate to give an answer to this question.

What topics are your scenarios about?
My screenplays are mostly based on my own novels, and I've written about all kinds of literature and all over the world. I have action, thriller, western, erotic, romance, cartoon, sci-fi genres in my collection of screenplays that is not small.

What motivates you the most to write screenplays?
Primarily, the desire to present some of my written and published novels through the type of script or drama, and in this way additionally present that work and improve my writing skills.

What are your plans for your future career?
I'm currently working on presenting some of my new novels to a wider audience in the world and in a number of different languages. Also, I plan to continue, in a somewhat later period, to participate as a screenwriter at film festivals and one day see some of my scripts on the film set.
